Just a window, but a lot of interesting brickwork around it. In bricklaying this is called English bond: a row of stretchers and one of headers.

Every time I look at windows, I remember what a guide in Montréal told me about how to differentiate English from French windows. English windows were opened vertically while French were opened horizontally. :)
