Who's that girl?

Today a puzzle for our visitors from Gliwice!
Guess where is a tenement decorated with this mysterious face.

I have no idea who she is but she is beautiful. I guess it's an ancient (Greek) goodness. Afrodite?

A happy face, I do not know the things behind this face as I am an Indian...

Amazing work.

This beautiful tenement comes from 1909, and is one of the best examples of Seccesion style in architecture in the city. Unfortunately, the woman's face must remain mysterious, (unless somebody really knows her identity, but I doubt....)

There are more beautiful women on the building, aren't there?

That's fascinating. And I think she's beautiful!

She has a ladder in her hair! It looks like a theater...

Well, as this isn't a theatre, maybe this woman is a muse, Melpomene? That would explain that ladder in her hair and the tragic masks nearby? Besides, ancient motifs were common in eclectic architecture...
