Neptune in the white coat

fot. Magdala
Although Gliwice is pretty far from the seaside, we can enjoy a nice sculpture of Neptune.
Neptune's fountains are usually placed in cities connected with the sea.
Thanks to the Odra river and the Gliwice Canal we live... in a harbour city! :)

ooo, super ta rzeźba, bardzo mi się podoba, nawet spod śniegu widać drzemiący w niej dynamizm.

This is marvellous. We have a Neptune fountain in PV too & he's never had a coat of white. The covering does look warm and cozy.

PS I missed the Pączki on your Fat Thursday post - now I have a craving for the homemade Krofne my grandmother used to make. :} (that's me licking my lips)

Post title and photo made me laugh harder than I've laughed in a long time. Thanks for that.
