September Theme Day - BIG

Gliwice Radio Tower - the biggest wooden structure in Europe!
For us, Poles, it's a symbol of Gleiwitz incident and a beginning of World War II.

Marvellous structure (with very interesting history) and love the night shot of it. You did so well to find something BIG and important to Gliwice.

No tak...
A ja miałem do wyboru -- krzesełko, stadion lub poszukiwania bunkra z 1939. Bunkra nie znalazłem, zdjęcia stadionu nieefektowne... Zostało jak zostało.

That's really big, as wooden structure and as historical building! Very good choice.

It's made of wood? Wow.
I read your link to the incident too — awful.

Excellent choice for 'big'. Particularly because of the anniversary of the incident.

It looks beautiful. I bet if looked from a distance, it would look like it was made of matches.
