Palm Sunday

phot. by Fio
Pussy willow, boxwood branches and dry flowers bouquet.
On this day people bring it to church for the blessing.
Although, it doesn't look like we call it... a palm.
Taken in St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral.

Fabulous shot. I wish I could find pussy willow, it's so hard to come by.

We also call it Palm Sunday, but it is next week (12/4) in Greece.
And, no palms also. Only a lot of bay leaves, that are given to people after the Sunday mass, to take them home as a blessing.

One of the things I like about blogging is that I learn how different people celebrate the same experience.

This is a lovely photograph with the colours and the light joining together so well.
