Holy Saturday

phot. by Marito
On Saturday we take to churches decorated baskets containing a sampling of traditional food (so called "święconka") to be blessed.
The food blessed in the church remains untouched until Sunday morning!
On the Easter Sunday we celebrate a festive breakfest. First we share "święconka" with each other.
WESOŁYCH ŚWIĄT!

I don't see how people would be able refrain from eating these for a day until after the blessign during the Easter service. Maybe the Lord has given them strength.
