In Poland Santa Claus, called "Święty Mikołaj", comes at night of 6th December.
In the picture - a little girl waiting for Santa with her own, hand made Advent Calender.
Isn't it pretty?

It is (I love papercrafts) and she is too.

That's a very interesting custom you have. So presents get opened on the 7th? What happens on the eve of the 24th and on the 25th?

So, we're lucky to get presents twice: on the 6th December from Santa, and on the 24th, let's say- from Baby Jesus :)

Here we have Santa Lucia on the 13th who brings presents to the children. And 25 Santa Claus brings more presents.... Uff....!

Hmmm… I'd like getting presents twice, but buying two presents for everyone?! No thank you. ;D
